Redesigning Staff Accountability and the Patient Experience

Wednesday, January 29, 2020

1:00 PM EST

Patient access teams are challenged today by many factors—a changing healthcare environment, variable insurance coverage, and a mandate to provide higher levels of customer service—while still needing to register patients quickly and accurately. Even though data accuracy drastically affects provider’s ability to get paid, it can unfortunately fall by the wayside when numerous patients are in line to be registered.

Join Roper St. Francis Healthcare in discussing the utilization of registration quality assurance tools to drive data accuracy, performance reporting and reducing denials. By focusing on correcting reimbursement issues related to incorrect plan code, MSP compliance, patient safety and identification and claim errors, Roper’s access team was able to achieve a 99% data accuracy rate. During this session, we’ll explore how the team leveraged data trends to drive staffing and employee productivity across departments.
