Stay Connected With the NAHAM Connections Podcast

Episode 1 — Learning Empathy to Improve the Patient Experience

These past few weeks have shown us that connections are more relevant than ever before. With that in mind, NAHAM is proud to launch our new podcast series, NAHAM Connections Podcast.

Staying connected to your teams and patients and providing an excellent patient experience is always at the forefront for Patient Access professionals. In this trying time, we are proud to share the first episode of the NAHAM Connections Podcast, “Learning Empathy to Improve the Patient Experience.”

In this episode, Susan Milligan, CHAM, CRCR, DDI and R Factor Certified Facilitator, director of patient and guest experience at Ensemble Health Partners, takes a deep dive into her white paper "Hooked on a Feeling: Using Empathy to Create a Positive Patient Experience" and defines what empathy means for Patient Access professionals.

We invite you to listen to this episode when it is convenient for you, whether that be on your commute to and from work, with your morning coffee or to wind down in the evening. Our connection with you is a priority for NAHAM, and this is one way we're happy to serve and support you, especially as we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are proud to represent the Patient Access community. We are thankful for you, and we stand with you now and every day. Stay tuned for future podcast episodes. Listen now, and be sure to like us, rate and subscribe on iTunesSpotifySoundCloud or Google Podcasts.
