After the Exam: What Can I Expect?
Share |

Congratulations on sitting for the CHAM or CHAA Examination! This page is your guide on what to expect from the moment your exam ends, to what information you will receive from NAHAM in the weeks following.

In chronological order:

1. Preliminary Score Report
This appears on your screen from NAHAM's third party testing vendor the moment your exam ends. It will have your pass/fail status, your scaled score and a brief note. Please note: this is not an official score report.

2. Final Score uploaded into Certification Central portal
  A. Once NAHAM receives the final score report (at the very end of the testing month), from our testing vendor, we will upload the scores into your personal dashboard in Certification Central. This takes place the first week after the testing window ends. You will see:

     - Pass/Fail date
     - Option to print initial certificate (if you receive passing score)

  B. If you need to re-take the exam, see instructions here.

3. Final Score Report (mailed within 3-5 weeks of testing window close)
This is provided to the candidate in the form of a pass packet that is sent via regular mail to the address provided by the certificant during the application process. It contains:

   - CHAM or CHAA lapel pin
   - CHAM or CHAA Certificate
   - Pass letter from NAHAM Certification Commission with recertification information

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your test status, please contact NAHAM any time at 202.367.1125 or
