Prior Auth Days out Metric

Hi all,

We are validating our days out authorization metric for high tech imaging and surgeries and I wanted to get some feedback on what you go by in your organizations. We follow a schedule/auth model. I appreciate any feedback you can provide. Thanks!

Hi, We too follow a schedule and then Auth workflow. We do not go by scheduled on date, but instead actual DOS. We have a goal of 14 days out from date of service and 7 days secured. Our daily metrics are impacted by any cases "added on" prior to the next full date of service in WQ. We consider 5 or more accounts a "full" date of service.
