Information for NAHAM Proctors

Examination applicants must inform NAHAM of their proctor’s identity at the time of application. The responsibilities of NAHAM Certification Examination proctors include ensuring a proper testing site, providing the candidates with their private examination access codes, guarding against any irregularities during the examination, and other matters.

NAHAM requires for any examination administration involving five or more candidates that a minimum of two qualified individuals simultaneously proctor the examination.

All proctors must work in the healthcare industry, be in a management role, and cannot directly supervise or be in the line of command of any candidates taking the examination. Proctors must attest to abstain from taking the exam for a minimum of three (3) years from the exam date. Proctors  cannot be currently enrolled to take a NAHAM certification exam. All Proctors are required to take the NAHAM Proctor Webinar and the Proctor Attestation Form prior to proctoring any exams.

NAHAM needs your help! There are many candidates who do not have designated proctors at their facilities or who are taking the exam independently. These candidates turn to our Proctor Database to find volunteers who will proctor their exam. If you'd like to be included in this database, please fill out our Proctor Database Form.
