While NAHAM is a "national" association built around the needs of patient access professionals in the United States, we understand that many of the practices and responsibilities of our members translate to international markets. NAHAM has developed a strong presence in Canada and is currently collaborating with areas as diverse as the Carribean and the United Arab Emirates.
We've found that there is great opportunity for patient access professionals in these areas to receive value from NAHAM's membership, education, and certification offerings. There is even opportunity to establish NAHAM affiliates in these regions. Of course, you and your colleagues can get started in NAHAM without having an official affiliate established. For instance, the aforementioned Canadian members do not currently have an affiliate, and we have patient access professionals in Dubai preparing to sit for the CHAA exam despite not having an affiliate.
What this means is: you can get started today using the NAHAM resources available to you.
Below is a primer on where international professionals can get started with NAHAM. We're interested in hearing from you; tell us what we can do for you and how we can enhance patient access practices in your area. Email email@example.com or call 202.367.1125. We look forward to working with you!
