Congratulations on taking the first step toward earning the Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) credential. The National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM) established the CHAM program to promote the highest standards of patient access services through the credentialing of those working as patient access managers.

 

 

Requirements for CHAM

  1. Manager-level or above individuals
  2. Two (2) years management experience in the healthcare or finance industry
  3. Signature of one (1) supervisor or course instructor/adviser and one (1) CHAM certified individual
  4. High school diploma or GED equivalent plus 90 professional development contact hours earned withing the past three (3) years; or a four-year degree from an accredited institution in healthcare, business, or related field

 

Payment Information: 
$175 for NAHAM members , $350 for non-members. 



REFUND/DATE CHANGE POLICY: as stated in the Candidate Guide to Certification, only in the case of personal illness, natural disaster, or death in the family will a refund/date change be issued. You must contact NAHAM within your assigned testing window in order for this to policy to apply.  If you are unable to take the exam and DO NOT meet the above requirements, please fill out an  Examination Date Change  form to switch your testing window for a $50 fee.

**Exam windows are open all month for testing.
