To ensure that Access Management issues are no longer silent in the healthcare reform debate, NAHAM has formed the Healthcare Access Management Coalition.

The coalition unites diverse members of the healthcare community, including Patient Access services professionals, healthcare information technology companies, hospitals, providers, and patients. Together, members of the coalition will educate policymakers on the importance of efficient and quality management processes from a patient’s point of entry throughout the continuum of care.

The Healthcare Access Management Coalition held its first meeting at the NAHAM Annual Meeting on May 28, 2009 to discuss strategic goals for the remainder of the year. If you are interested in joining the coalition, it is not too late.  There is power in numbers and your participation will help bring more attention to Healthcare Access Management issues.

Contact John Richardson, NAHAM Director of Government Relations at (202) 367-1175 if you are interested in becoming a member of the Healthcare Access Management Coalition or would like to learn more about the coalition’s activities.
