About NAHAM


The National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM) is the only national professional organization dedicated to promoting excellence in the management of patient access services in all areas of the healthcare delivery system.

Patient access services professionals provide quality services in registration and all of its support processes to patients, providers and payors into, through and out of their health care experience. Earn Recognition:

NAHAM was responsible for establishing the National Healthcare Access Personnel Week on the calendar of the American Hospital Association. Membership Categories and Requirements

Active Membership

Individuals who are responsible for managing, training or consulting within the healthcare access continuum and other healthcare professionals interested in patient access services. Active members are entitled to run for elective office, exercise voting privileges, and receive all NAHAM publications such as the NAHAM Management Journal, CONNECTIONS, and the Membership Directory.

Business Partner Membership

Corporations or institutions who serve the healthcare industry with particular relevance to the patient access field.
