The National Association of Healthcare Access Management's Fellowship Program recognizes those who have contributed to the patient access services profession in a significant and sustained manner.

The intent of this program is to:

  • Nationally recognize proven leaders in the profession

  • Provide experienced resources to the organization

  • Retain senior level members of the organization through the recognition process

Criteria for Achieving Fellowship Status Include:

  • Active involvement in NAHAM at the national level as an officer, regional delegate, or committee chair or at the affiliate (state, regional) level as president

  • Active membership in NAHAM

  • Bachelor’s degree in health care, management or other related field; in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, or significant experience (minimum of twenty years) in healthcare, revenue cycle, or other related field

  • Current CHAM certification

  • Presentation at the annual national NAHAM Conference within the past three years

  • Publication in a national publication (journal, etc.)

Application Process:

  • Complete the application form

  • Attach documentation of the required criteria listed above

  • Two (2) letters of recommendation: one from your current supervisor/administrator or immediate past supervisor and one from a professional colleague who is active in NAHAM

  • Application fee of $200.00 (non-refundable)
