The content outlines define the subject matter that are
measured on both of our certification examinations. The content outlines were
developed through detailed job analysis surveys of patient access managers and patient access line staff in a
variety of practice settings across the United States.
The outlines are intended to indicate, in summary
fashion, the examinations' potential scope of coverage. It is
our hope that the outlines will assist candidates in their
preparation.
